This door range has edge bands already affixed to the door, however if there is a need for on-site trimming (maximum trimming allowance 6mm) please note the following guidance:
Re apply the edge banding supplied loose within the packaging of the door by applying a good quality impact glue and maintaining a constant pressure on the edge band until it has fully adhered to the long edges of the door. The edge band will have better adherence if the edges are square and flat after trimming.
If the preference is not to re-apply the spare edge banding supplied, the alternative is to simply paint the long edge using a good quality paint to the nearest RAL colour to match the face of the door. We recommend that you apply masking tape to the face edge of the door BEFORE painting the edges to avoid over spill to the face of the door. It is recommended that a minimum of 2 coats should be applied to give full protection to the exposed timber lipping.

BEFORE YOUR DOORS ARRIVE
- Delivery hours: standard deliveries usually take place between 7am and 5pm.
- Someone must be present: an adult aged 18 or over must accept and sign for the goods. Doors cannot be left unattended.
- Unloading assistance: this is a one-driver service. Please arrange for a capable adult to help unload the doors.
- Ground floor only: drivers cannot carry doors upstairs or to upper-floor flats. Courier deliveries may be kerbside only.
- Vehicle access: tell us before booking about narrow lanes, low bridges, weight or width restrictions, tight turns, restricted parking or loading-bay requirements. Large vehicles, including 18-tonne vehicles, may be used.
If a smaller vehicle or special arrangement is needed, we will check availability and any additional charge before booking. Re-delivery charges may apply if nobody is present, unloading assistance is unavailable or undisclosed access restrictions prevent delivery.
IRONMONGERY & PAINT – 72-HOUR DELIVERY
When ordered separately, ironmongery and paint are usually delivered within 72 hours, excluding weekends and bank holidays, subject to stock availability.
- Ironmongery orders of £150 or more: FREE standard UK delivery.
- Ironmongery orders below £150: £15 delivery.
- Paint: any delivery charge is shown at checkout.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the items to us in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of receipt and we will issue a full refund (excluding original delivery & Collection charge).
Doors cannot be returned under the 14 day rule once unpacked unless the product is faulty. Cancellation must be in writing or by e-mail.
If you have ordered Bespoke Door(s) which are in production we are unable to offer a refund.
