The Wexford Untreated Oak Internal Door is a traditional four-panel design with the warmth and natural character of real white oak veneer. Its balanced rectangular panels create a timeless appearance suited to both period properties and modern homes seeking a classic interior style.

Supplied untreated, the Wexford can be personalised with a suitable finish to complement flooring, furniture and surrounding woodwork. A solid engineered core provides strength, stability and a substantial feel for everyday internal use.

Finishing and Installation

The door must be fully finished promptly after unpacking and before installation. LPD recommends Hard Wax Oil for its untreated oak internal doors. Choose LPD Clear Soft Satin Hardwax Oil or LPD Clear Flat Matt Hardwax Oil according to the preferred sheen.

LPD internal joinery is not suitable for every wax, polish, dye or oil. Confirm with the finishing-product manufacturer that it is suitable for an engineered oak-veneered internal door and follow their instructions.

The Wexford has a 20mm lipping and can be trimmed by up to 8mm from any edge. Trimmed edges must be finished with a suitable polyurethane varnish. LPD recommends a Hi-Build, microporous product that is not quick-drying to help prevent waterlogging.

We recommend three good-quality hinges suitable for the selected door’s weight. Handles, hinges and latches are sold separately. Two 35mm doors may be paired using a compatible LPD T-lip; confirm sizing with your joiner.
