Whilst the Oak Original and Essential ranges may look very similar, they do have some contrasting qualities.
Let's take a look at what some of them are.
One key difference is that the lipping material varies, depending on the range. For the Original range, the material is Solid Oak 20 mm lippings, whereas for the Essential range the material is Solid Hardwood 20mm lippings.
The other key difference is the Inlay Material, the Original range has Oak Inlays and the essential range have Hardwood inlays.
Furthermore, if you're after a Glazed Fire Door then you will need to opt for the Original range as the Essential range doesn't offer Glazed Fire Door options.
The Original range is also FSC certified, whereas the Essential range isn't.

If you're looking for a very long guarentee, you might want to consider the Original range as you will get a huge 25 years, whereas the Essential range offers 10 years.
